More Christmas Card Ideas

We are so excited about the goodies we have to make oh, so special cards! Rubber stamping, collage, layering, and of course, glitter. It's all such fun!

Recipe Tips

Stamp the shimmer silver paper with the Happy Holidays stamp in Versamark ink. Coat with red embossing powder and heat set. Punch out the message with the 2 1/4" circle punch. Stamp the A2 folded card a few times with the snowflake stamp in Versamark ink (leave room to add in bigger snowflakes). Coat with silver embossing powder and heat set. Punch three snowflakes out of silver glitter paper with the snowflake punch. Adhere the snowflakes to the card with zots. Trim the snowflakes so there is no excess hanging over the edges of the card. Stick the silver circle to the card with foam squares. Embellish the center of the stamped snowflakes with silver stickles. Pair with the red envelope.

Print your invitation on paper bag text, 2-up. Cut each printed layer to 4 1/4" x 6". Stamp the llama in Versamark ink and coat with white embossing powder. Heat set. Mount the invitation layer to the superfine white A6 card with tape runner or Xyron. Embellish the llama with stickles and gel pens. Stick a santa hat sticker on the llama's head. Use a A6 liner template to trace and cut an envelope liner out. Insert the liner into the A6 clover envelope and adhere it with a tape runner.

Cut a piece of Persimmon text to 4" x 5 1/4". Stamp Joy and Cheer in the bottom center with Versamark ink. Coat with white embossing powder and heat set. Mount to the A2 folded card with xyron or tape runner. Stamp the jar stamp on peacock cover in Versamark ink. Coat with white embossing powder and heat set. Cut out the jar with scissors. Mount to the card with foam squares. Pair with a persimmon A2 envelope.

Stamp the center of the card with Peace, Joy, Love stamp in Versamark ink. Coat with gold embossing powder. Fill in the rest of the card with pine branches stamped in Versamark ink. Coat with green embossing powder. Heat set. Embellish the berries and stars with gold stickles. Pair with a spruce A2 envelope.

Stamp the snowman and Merry Christmas stamp in Versamark ink. Coat with red embossing powder and heat set. Embellish the carrot nose and the scarf with quickie glue and glitter. Cut some baker's twine and thread it through the hole in the tag.

Cut the slate paper to 3 1/4" x 4 5/8". Stamp the adornment wreath in Versamark ink. Coat with gold embossing powder and heat set. Adhere a sticker to the center. Mount to the 4 bar folded card with xryon or tape runner. Embellish the wreath with gold stickles. Pair with an antique gold envelope.

Recipe Tips

Cut the quartz paper into 4" x 5 1/4" rectangles. Stamp season's greetings in the upper right corner of the quartz paper in Versamark ink. Coat with red embossing powder. Stamp a bunch of 3 holiday flowers on the left with Versamark ink. Coat with gold embossing powder. Heat set. Mount the stamped paper to the antique gold card with tape runner or Xyron. Embellish the holly berries with red liquid pearls. Trace and cut a liner out of the holiday floral glitter wrap with an A2 envelope liner template. Insert the liner into the quartz envelope and adhere with tape runner.

Stamp the center of the card with the merry christmas stamp in versamark ink. Coat with red embossing powder. Stamp the holiday flower around the perimeter of the card (overlapping the edges) in Versamark ink. Coat with white embossing powder heat set. Accent the holly berries with red liquid pearls pair with a persimmon envelope.

Trim Peacock card to measure 4 1/4" x 6". Mix 2 parts white embossing powder with 1 part glitter and sprinkle over stamped images. Use scissors to snip corners of stamped card at an angle before mounting layer onto red folded card.

Stamp trees and heat set using embossing heat tool. Cut snowdrift shapes from Pool cover. Drag glue pad across shapes and over stamped trees and sprinkle with glitter. Adhere snowdrift shapes and reindeer in place as shown using foam squares.

Trim Antique Gold card to measure 4 1/4" x 6". Layer circles and washi tape as shown and adhere message in place using foam squares.

Recipe Tips:

Stamp and emboss message and fox then use pencil eraser to create snow and heat set using embossing heat tool, being careful not to overheat embossed images. Fill in fox using white pen.

Trim Superfine White card to measure 4 1/4" x 6". Stamp and heat set pine branches and message. Cut out message and adhere to card using foam squares.

Print text onto Superfine White text and trim to 5" x 3 3/4". Adhere to card using washi tape. Cut sweater shape from Persimmon cover and stamp and emboss images onto front and sleeves. Use washi tape and red jute cord to accent sweater.

Stamp and emboss message. Create circle shape by looping cord several times using stamped message as a guide for size. Secure loops with another small length of twine. Adhere in place using glue dots. Embellish with a red jute cord bow. If desired, trim corners as shown. Mount layer to folded card using foam squares.
