A glitch on a card website has seen savvy Valentine's Day shoppers blag their cards for free.
Customers entering a discount code at the Scribbler checkout where expecting to get 5% off their total purchase, but instead it appeared to take off £5 instead.
The card shop realised the mistake late on Wednesday morning and the site was closed for maintenance, according to internet users.
The issue, which also worked for other greetings cards, was spotted by a member of deal sharing website HotUKDeals on Tuesday evening while purchasing a Valentine's Day card.
They entered the code MUSTBLOVE05, which was for 5% off but it instead reduced the amount by the £3.59 cost of the card leaving the total to pay as £0.00.
The original poster advised that it was only valid per one account and others went on to purchase cards using the code.
