When we started to brainstorm ideas for our office New Years card, we were inspired to get back to the root of our craft by incorporating handmade components into our design. This was also an excellent platform to demonstrate handmade art and digital design can coexist.
After a visit to the Paper Source in Cobble Hill for brainstorming and inspiration, we decided to make a card using a custom designed rubber stamp, featuring a snow globe with graphic trees and tech symbols floating to mimic snow. The stamp was applied to an uncoated stock using a clear translucent ink. We achieved the raised texture by sprinkling the stamped image with silver and vibrant orange embossing powder — colors which match our brand.
We could spend hours in this store!
