Greeting animation

Japanese animation has a long history of over 100 years, and Japanese TV animation also has more than 50 years history.

During such a long history, various types of animation works were produced in Japan thanks to our forerunners who restlessly explored new expression methods and worked hard to develop new business opportunities.

Today Japanese animation, supported by a lot of fans, including kids, families, video lovers, hardcore fans and more, is highly valued from all over the world as a unique cultural industry of Japan.
We, The Association of Japanese Animations (AJA), are the industrial organization acting for animation studios and individuals involved in animation and engaged in preparing better creative environment as well as business environment.

We, for instance, work on cultivating human resources cooperating with governmental organizations, schools or individuals concerned, preparing better animation production environment thorough coordination between AJA members and other industries, providing useful business seminars, conducting IP market researches, and supporting development of new animation technologies.

AJA is also conducting various promotional activities including operation of AnimeJapan and Tokyo Anime Award Festival.
