Once I had the pictures from our little diy christmas photo booth session uploaded I immediately started looking through the numerous holiday photo card options. You could spend hours upon hours looking for a design you like - ask me how I know ;) - each site has a huge inventory of designs to pick from, but finding "the one" is easier said than done. So after hours of searching for a design I loved, at a price I was willing to pay (it's always easy to find expensive things you love isn't it?), I decided to use PicMonkey to design my own card. At Vistaprint I was able to upload the card I designed via PicMonkey, and the bonus was being able to print a double-sided card at no extra cost. Which saved the day - for this indecisive momma - as I was able to get a few pics on the back as well - instead of being forced to choose just one!
And the best part is even though I upgraded to the premium matte card stock, I still only paid 78 cents a card - which isn't too bad for a 5 x 7 double sided card.
This isn't a sponsored post. I just wanted to tip you off in case you were having a hard time trying to find a design you liked. Using PicMonkey to design your card is really easy, and it gives you the opportunity to totally customize your message.
Have you already ordered your cards? I'm trying to be really on the ball this year because I usually end up waiting to the very last minute to get our cards in the mail. I'm hoping that getting them delivered before Thanksgiving will help me to get them out sooner. Knowing me they'll probably end up sitting on the kitchen counter for weeks, but let's hope for the best!
